Hello, how are you? Today is a bit too hot, isn’t it?
ชอบอากาศร้อนไหมคะ สำหรับฉัน ฉันชอบอากาศเวลาฝนตกมากกกว่า แต่บางคนไม่ชอบฝนตกเลย
Châwb aa-gàad rón mái khá?, chán châwb aa-gàad way-laa fǒn-dtòk mâak-gwàa.
Do you like hot weather? For me, I prefer the weather when it rain more.
เคยสังเกตไหมคะ ว่าแต่ละคนชอบอะไรไม่เหมือนกัน
Khoey sǎng-gèd mái khá? Wâa dtàe-lá-khon châwb arai mâi měuan-gan.

Chên, way-laa rao phûud-thěng rêuang-aa-hǎan. Chán châwb aa-hǎan rót-jàd mâak-gwàa khà. Sùan-yài, way-laa bpai ráan-aa-hǎan mák-jà sàng Phàd-Gà-Phrao phèd-phèd.
For example, when we mention about food. I prefer strong taste food more. Mostly when I go to the restaurant, I usually order very spicy Phad-gà-phrao (Stir-fried basil)
แต่เพื่อนสนิทของฉันชอบอาหารรสจืดมากกว่า เธอจะบ่นทุกครั้ง เวลาเธอเห็นฉันกินอาหารเผ็ด
Dtàe phêuan-sà-nìt không chán châwb aa-hǎan rót-jèud mâak-gwàa. Ther jà bòn thúk-khráng way-laa ther hěn chán gin aa-hǎan phèd.
But my bestfriend prefers mild taste food more, she complains everytimes when she sees me eating spicy food.
เธอเป็นคนที่ชอบกินซุป ต้มจืด หรือปลานึ่ง อะไรแบบนั้น ต่างกับฉันมากเลยค่ะ
Ther bpen khon thîi châwb gin Soup, dtôm-jèud réue bplaa-nêung arai-bàeb-nán. Dtàang gàb chán mâak loey khà.
She is the person who likes to eat soup, clear vegetable soup or steam fish, something like that. Very different from me !
ไม่ใช่แค่นี้นะ พูดถึงหนังที่ชอบ เราสองคนชอบคนละแบบเลยค่ะ เธอชอบดูหนังไทย หนังตลก หรือไม่ก็หนังผี
Mâi châi khâe-níi ná, phûud-thěung nǎng thîi châwb, rao sǎwng khon châwb khon là bàeb loey khà. Thea châwb duu nǎng Thai, nǎng dtà-lòk réue mâi gâw nǎng-phǐi.
Not just only this, mentioning about favourite movie. Both of us like completely different. She likes to watch Thai movies, comedies if not then horror movies.

Ther bpai duu nǎng thîi rong-nǎng bòi mâak-mâak. Ther bòk wâa duu nǎng thîi bâan gàb duu nǎng thîi rong-nǎng, khwaam-rúu-sèuk man dtàang-gan khà.
She goes watch movies at the cinema very often. She told me that watching movies at home and at cinema, the feelings are different.
ในขณะที่ฉัน บ้ากับหนังแอคชั่น หนังหักมุม หรือหนังไซไฟค่ะ
Nai-khà-nà thîi chán, bâa gàb nǎng Action, nǎng hàk-mum réue nǎng Sci-Fi khà.
While, I am crazy with action movies, plot twist movies or Sci-Fi movies.

The thing that my bestfriend thinks that I am strange is I prefer to watch in English version and English subtitle more.

Dtàe sǎm-ràb chán man mâi bplàek ná. Way-laa fang paa-sǎa ang-grìd rúu-sèuk měuan-gàb duu nǎng bpai dûay, rian paa-sǎa ang-grìd bpai dûay khà. Láew phêuan-phêuan là khá? Châwb gin aa-hǎan arai láe châwb duu nǎng rêuang arai khá?
But for me, it’s not strange. When you listen to English, it feels like watching and studying English at the same time. And how about you (friends) ? What do you likr to eat and which movie do you like to watch?

Grammar focus
The word "เนอะ" is a soft question tag used at the end of a sentence to ask for confirmation or agreement, similar to "right?" or "isn’t it?" in English.

เขากินเยอะมากเลยเนอะ (Kháo gin yér mâak loey nér) - He eats a lot, doesn’t he?
เธอทำงานเก่งเนอะ (Thea tham-ngaan gèng nér) - She’s good at her job, right?
หนังเรื่องนี้สนุกเนอะ (Nǎng rêuang níi sà-nùk nér) - This movie is fun, isn’t it?
