    Honeymoon in Thailand

Listening practice is a key aspect of mastering Thai, especially when it comes to travel conversations and future plans. For upper-intermediate learners, it's important to catch both the details and flow of dialogue. In this vlog, we’ll explore a casual conversation about an exciting travel plan, including honeymoon ideas, trips to Thai islands, and using public transportation like the skytrain. You'll get to hear useful vocabulary and phrases like 'หลังจากนั้น' (Lǎng-jàak-nán), which means 'after that,' to help you smoothly transition between events. This will help you understand how to naturally talk about future plans and make your Thai sound more fluent.

To make learning easier, we provide a phonetic version of the story, helping you focus on pronunciation and comprehension which includes ....

✅ Phonetic script for accurate pronunciation.

✅ Thai script for learners familiar with reading.

✅ English translation to ensure you understand every word.

✅ New vocabulary focus, so you can expand your knowledge effortlessly.

✅ Comprehension questions to test and solidify your learning.

If you’re ready to go beyond this introduction and dive deeper into the full learning experience, you can get 20 scriptspacked with all these features by contacting me at narissworkspace@gmail.com

    Grammar focus

I want to talk about the phrase 'หลังจากนั้น' (Lǎng-jàak-nán), which means 'after that.' It’s super useful for connecting ideas when you’re sharing plans or telling a story. For example:

'หลังจากนั้น เราจะลองไปกรุงเทพ' – After that, we will try to go to Bangkok.

You can use 'หลังจากนั้น' to smoothly transition between different events when talking about what happens next.

    Examples:

    เราไปดูหนังกัน หลังจากนั้นไปกินข้าว

Rao bpai duu nǎng gan, lǎng-jàak-nán bpai gin khâao.

We went to watch a movie together, and after that, we went to eat.

    เขาทำการบ้านเสร็จ หลังจากนั้นเขาพักผ่อน

    Khao tam gaan-bâan sèt, lǎng-jàak-nán khao phák-pòn.

He finished his homework, and after that, he relaxed.

    พวกเราจะไปเที่ยวทะเล หลังจากนั้นจะกลับบ้าน

Phûak-rao jà bpai thîaw thá-lay, lǎng-jàak-nán jà glàp bâan.

We’re going to the beach, and after that, we will go home.

    ฉันต้องประชุมงาน หลังจากนั้นจะไปเจอเพื่อน

Chán dtông bpra-chum ngaan, lǎng-jàak-nán jà bpai jooe phûean.

I have a work meeting, and after that, I will meet my friend.
